Scars. Pain. Constant agony and embarrassment. For someone who suffered, without remission, from hidradenitis suppurativa (acne inversa) for years, I felt so defeated. Acne was everywhere and it. was. painful.

Doctors told me I would have this condition for the rest of my life. My only options, they said, were endless surgeries or medication that required waiver after waiver because of the potential damage it could cause my body.

There had to be a better way. Western Medicine isn't always the best way, right? There had to be a way to naturally control this.

It started with essential oils. Small successes, but successes nonetheless. Sadly, every time I used a store-bought body wash, soap bar, or facial soap it was like starting back at square one. More pain. I had to do better. I had hope that I could find the right combination of essential oils and natural bath and body products to continue having small successes until this became manageable. And I did.
